Many people are dissatisfied with the shape or size of their noses. Rhinoplasty can reshape your nose and enhance its appearance. Dr. Stein is a double-board-certified plastic surgeon with over 26 years of experience, dedicated to helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals.

What is a Nose Job (Rhinoplasty)?

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a nose job, is a surgery to reshape the nose. It aims to enhance the nose’s shape, size, or function, addressing both aesthetic and functional concerns.

What is Rhinoplasty Surgery Like?

Dr. Stein tailors each rhinoplasty procedure to the individual’s needs. During your consultation, he will discuss your goals and options, crafting a customized treatment plan.

The surgery is performed under IV sedation or twilight anesthesia. Dr. Stein makes incisions inside the nostrils or within natural creases, ensuring no visible scars. He then reshapes or repositions the nasal structure, achieving the desired look.

How Long is Recovery After Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty is typically an outpatient procedure, allowing you to recover at home. A splint will be worn for the first week, and some swelling, bruising, and soreness is expected. Most patients can return to their routine after about one week.

While initial results become visible in a few weeks, it may take up to one year for the nose to fully heal into its final shape.

What Are the Benefits of Rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty addresses a wide range of concerns. Aesthetic rhinoplasty enhances the appearance of the nose, while functional rhinoplasty corrects breathing issues. A nose job can:

  • Reduce the size of the nose
  • Reshape the tip and nostrils
  • Enhance the nose’s appearance
  • Straighten a deviated septum
  • Repair damage from injury
  • Improve breathing and nasal function

Am I a Good Candidate for Rhinoplasty?

As a rhinoplasty specialist, Dr. Stein is dedicated to helping you achieve a balanced, beautiful nose. During a thorough consultation, he will assess if rhinoplasty aligns with your health and aesthetic goals.

Ideal candidates for rhinoplasty are in good health, smoke-free, and have fully developed noses, typically in their mid-teens or older.
