Q: What is a Facelift (Rhytidectomy)? A: Facelift is a procedure to rejuvenate the cheeks, jowls and neck. It is often called a Cheek-Neck Lift.
Q: What is a Browlift or Forehead Lift? A: Done to elevate the eyebrows into a more youthful position, a Browlift can also reduce lines and creases on the forehead, between the eyebrows and in the crow's feet area, Often the appearance of the upper eyelids is rejuvenated as well.
Q: What is an Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty)? A: Often the first signs of aging appear around the eyes. Eyelid surgery deals with sagging excess skin in the upper eyelids and puffiness caused by protruding fat in the lower eyelids.
Q: What is Rhinoplasty or nasal refinement surgery? A: One of the most demanding surgical procedures, rhinoplasty, can have a profound impact on overall facial balance and harmony. By carefully sculpting and reshaping the nose, dramatic changes can be achieved. However, most often, more subtle changes are what is desired
Q: What is a Chin Implant? A: For those who have an underprojected chin, this procedure can strengthen the chin and improve the face on profile.
Q: What is Laser Resurfacing? A: Laser resurfacing is a procedure which can reduce wrinkles, remove sun damaged skin and reduce the appearance of acne scars. It works on the surface of the skin only and has no effect on sagging tissues.
Q: What is Otoplasty? A: Otoplasty is a procedure which "pins back" or repositions protruded ears.
Q: What is Lip Augmentation? A: A variety of procedures and treatments can make the lips full and more aesthetically pleasing
Q: What is Botox? A: Botox is an injection which can be used to selectively and temporarily paralyze certain facial muscles to reduce creases in the forehead, between the eyebrows and around the eyes.
Q: What is a Microdermabrasion? A: This treatment carefully polishes away surface irregularities and makes your skin smoother and younger-looking. It can be performed at lunch and offers little or no recovery time.
Q: Would IPL treatment cause any hair loss? Is it effective to remove pigmentation? A: IPL technology can remove hair, usually temporarily at the wavelengths used for photorejuvenation. Men who get IPL treatments on their face report reduced beard growth at least for a short time. We have not seen any obvious permanent hair reduction with photorejuvenation treatments. IPL works well to reduce hyperpigmentation.
